Refunds & cancellation

The short version

Care $79/month and Growth $149/month renew automatically every month until you cancel.
The first charge is on the day your site goes live, and later charges are on the same date each month. Free previews never cost anything.
Cancel any time online, without calling. Cancellation stops all future charges.
If you're not happy in your first 30 days live, you get your first month back.

How to cancel (any of these works)

Use the cancellation form and choose "Cancel or billing".
Reply "cancel" to any email from us.
Use the self-service subscription link in your payment receipt, where your payment provider offers one.

We confirm by email the same or next business day. Your site stays online until the end of the month you've already paid for. Then we send you an export of your content and take the site down, unless you buy it out. There are no cancellation fees.

Refunds

Monthly plans: if you're unhappy within your first 30 days live, ask and we refund your first month in full. After that, months already started aren't refunded, but you're never charged again after you cancel.
Price increases: we give 30 days' notice. If a higher price is charged, you may cancel within 14 days and get a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
"Own it" ($590 once): refundable within 14 days of handover if you haven't published the files.
Mistakes: any charge made in error is refunded in full.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Reminders

Our plans are month-to-month. We don't sell annual or longer terms. If we ever do, we'll send a reminder before each renewal deadline, as New York law requires.
